Every two years, architects, designers, planners, engineers, and artisans from all over the world gather at the Light + Building show – the world’s leading trade fair for led lighting and building services technology. What makes this event both unique and exciting, is that it combines architecture, and engineering, together with the latest in LED lighting technology.
The motto for the 2016 show was “digital – individual – networked”. These three aspects represent the keystones for the creation of modern spaces that also contribute to an improved quality of life. This year, the focus was not only on trends in the lighting market and the influence of light on people but also on networked safety and security, intelligent home and building automation, and efficient energy management. These key issues were the focus of several seminars and expert lectures.
With 2,589 exhibitors and 216,000 visitors, 2016 was a record breaking year for this event, and KLUS was proud to be a part of it. KLUS marketing manager Zofia Stebnicki, commented on their participation in the show. “We were extremely pleased to have presented our LED profile systems and new lighting solutions to the visitors and other exhibitors of the Light + Building show this year. Our display received thousands of visitors and the feedback we received for our lighting and illumination designs were fantastic. It is exciting to see that the demand for LED products, and LED profiles, is very high due to their beauty, efficiency, and versatility.”
The next Light + Building show will be held March 18th to 22th 2018.
